Scope of Work

The Loveland Trail System was scheduled for replacement. However, the easement on which the trail sits is owned by a water district that also manages a ditch right beside it. This water district requires that any work on the easement meets CDOT standards. To comply with these requirements, Loveland Ready Mix designed the concrete mix using FiberForce 350 fibrillated fibers—the same type used in the current CDOT APL. The mix includes 1.5 lbs/yd3 of these fibers. More than half of the concrete has now been placed. The finish features a light broom texture and integrated color, which gives it a very attractive appearance.

Even though this fiber is a different model than we are used to ... there is no difference in how it places and finishes. It seems to be performing as there is minimal [to no] cracking.
